SPECTROGRAPHIC SAMPLE CUT-OFF (SPEC-H) TYPE HORIZONTAL
The Horizontal wheel spectrographic cutting machine is a high powered machine to produce rapid cuts without heating for fast and precision analysis of samples. The specimen sample is inserted into the tapered opening at the top counter. It is clamped PNEUMATICALLY onto an independently driven rotating fixture with removable rings. The
horizontally driven cut-off wheel is fed into the sample by convenient operating lever. The cut-off end falls into a specially guided opening and the other end is ejected by a pneumatic cylinder. A side connection for a dust extraction system is provided.

A high powered motor driving the cut-off wheel in a vertical plane. The sample is clamped in a special clamping device adjustable to suit different tapers with clamping on both sides of the cut. Recirculating coolant is jetisoned on both sides of the wheel. The cut-off wheel is totally enclosed for safety.
